“…Just ordered pizza from Domino’s at the NEX food court and found this cockroach baked into the crust,” – social media post.

Guam – Food courts across the island have been dominating the news lately with concerning reports of vermin and pests found in food, and now it appears the US Naval Exchange’s food court is no exception, as one unlucky consumer found a cockroach in their slice of pizza.

A public social media post warns others of the horrifying discovery with the caption: “…Just ordered pizza from Domino’s at the NEX food court and found this cockroach baked into the crust.”

Luckily, the individual notes that they quickly noticed the unwelcome ingredient before taking a bite out of the pizza.

According to Merlin Getbonton, the Manager for the Naval Exchange Domino’s Pizza branch, the matter is under review.

He adds that they are unsure whether the pest came from their facility or arrived via the transportation to deliver the pizza.

The manager says their branch is visited by a pest control company once a week and public health visits regularly.

At present, Getbonton says an official health complaint has not been filed with DPHSS against the branch.
