Emergency responders addressed several collisions and accidents earlier today.
With pieces of metal strewn around the street, emergency responders and law enforcement officials responded to a three-car vehicular crash at around 9:30 this morning.
According to Guam Fire Department spokesman Kevin O’Reilly, the accident occurred on Route 4 near the Bank of Guam in Hagatna and that injuries were sustained during the collision.
At around that same time, GFD assessed and mitigated a gasoline spill in Tamuning on Route 1 across the Wise Owl Animal Hospital.
In addition, after evacuating nearby businesses, the department also had to put out a structure fire at the Guahan Collision warehouse in Harmon Industrial Park. The blaze was eventually brought under control and O’Reilly says that neither the establishment’s occupants or responders were injured during the incident.
And lastly, GFD and members of the Guam Police Department responded to a car crash that occurred across the John F. Kennedy High School High School.
