The Navy on Saturday reported that only 833 of its sailors from the USS Roosevelt have tested positive for COVID-19.
That is 7 fewer crewmembers than the 840 who were reported positive on Friday. The Navy’s blog site does not explain why.
According to the Navy LIVE website, 100% of the crew has been tested. 4,105 are negative, although “a small number of results are still pending.”
As of Saturday, only two sailors remained hospitalized at Naval Hospital Guam for treatment of the symptoms of COVID-19. Neither was in the intensive care unit.
