Guam – By 2015, Butler’s emporium in Sinjajna was hoping to celebrate 100 years in business on Guam. But owner Gerry Champion says that recent road construction in front of the family store may drive them out of business before then.
The traffic island that was added to the center of Route 4 in front of Butler’s during the recent construction prevents east-bound traffic from turning into Butler’s parking lot.
Champion says he’s called a meeting for January 17th at his store to hear from other businesses affected by traffic construction. And he says they are going to consider the possibility of a lawsuit.
