Authorities Call on Public for Help in Finding 2 Saipan Sisters, Missing Since Last Wednesday


Guam – The search continues for two young girls in Saipan who have been missing since Wednesday of last week and the authorities are calling on thepublic for help.

Its now been six days since 10-year old Faloma Luhk and her 9-year old sister Meleina Luhk went missing from their bus stop in the As Teo area of Saipan.

Family member Anicia Tomokane told Patti Arroyo on K-57 today that the girls were last seen when they were taken to the bus stop at about 6 am that morning. She added that no one knew they were missing until they didn’t return to the bus stop after school.

Tomokane, who is the girls’ aunt, says more than a hundred people in the community have volunteered to search for the missing children.

A website was created to provide the public with details on the search. Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact the Saipan Police or call the Family Hotline at 670-285-4048.
