Congressman Michael San Nicolas is asking Guam Republicans for support in attaining federal relief packages for Guam.

As elected officials in the federal government weigh various options for direct assistance and stimulus to address economic impacts of the coronavirus, San Nicolas said he is once again seeking the support of the Guam Republican Party to help lobby the Republican administration in Washington D.C.

“We worked hand in hand to get war claims in HR 1365 on the President’s desk and by March 27th at the latest it will become law; now we need to extend this same partnership to secure Guam’s interests in all coronavirus relief packages,” San Nicolas said in a news release.

“With the Senate and the White House Republican-controlled, our cooperation will be essential in making sure we are included every step of the way, and not excluded as we have been in past relief efforts,” San Nicolas added.
