Guam Celebrates Its Patron Saint TODAY; Santa Marian Kamalen Procession at 4 pm


Guam – Island residents are celebrating the Feast of the Immaculate Concepcion today [Wednesday]. It is a religious holiday and a GovGuam holiday celebrating Guam Patron Saint Santa Marian Kamalen.

All  GovGuam offices are closed today.  Public schools and catholic schools are also closed. Federal Governmnet offices, banks and most retail stores are open. And Guam Mass Transit is running a regular schedule.

And the roads around the Cathedral Basilica will close starting at 12:30 today to make way for the procession of the statute of Santa Marian Kamalen which starts at 4 this afternoon.
