NWS says new weather makers are approaching.
Guam – The National Weather Service points out a shear line and another tropical disturbance as the weather makers of this week.
In its Area Forecast Discussion released on 3:50 PM, NWS writes, “Scattered showers associated with the shear line will be possible Thursday and Thursday night. Tropical disturbance could generate scattered showers Saturday night through Sunday night.”
However according to its forecast table, NWS predicts only up to 20% chance of rain throughout the week. In explaining, the Weather Service says, “Will maintain dry bias in the forecast for now as it is too early to determine when/if scattered showers will occur in conjunction with the shear line/tropical disturbance.”
