Security Equipment for Schools Project Awarded to G4S Security Systems Guam

After almost two years since the Secure Our Schools Act was implemented, Guam Department of Education is now at the tail end of the procurement process. General Services Agency, who’s in charge of the procurement, awarded the project to G4S earlier today.

Guam – It looks like G4S Security Services Guam will be the vendor working for the Guam Department of Education for installing security cameras at the 35 DOE schools.

GSA’s Robert Kono says G4S’s bid for the security cameras costs about $798-thousand dollars. GDOE will then have to give the Notice to Proceed to G4S and discuss with the vendor several topics such as how many cameras will be installed in what schools, which schools are priority and how long it’ll take to install the security cameras.
