Senators Discuss Bed and Breakfast Bill in Session

Session continues.

Guam – Lawmakers are in session today and among the bills discussed is the bill introduced by Senator Tina Muna Barnes that would reduce hotel occupancy tax rates for bed and breakfast establishments.

 

Bill 323 would also authorize the Director of Revenue and Taxation to enter into tax collection agreements with transient accommodations brokers. Bill 293 was also discussed on the session floor, which would authorize the transfer of funds into the housing trust funds for the first-time homeowner’s assistance program act.
