Senators pass new medical marijuana rules

1366

Guam – On Friday evening lawmakers voted on a number of measures passing another medical marijuana bill that contains a set of new rules and regulations. The bill was introduced by Senator Dennis Rodriguez Jr. Senators also passed the “Marine Conservation Act of 2018” which if signed into law will require the development of a community based fisheries management plan for Umatac bay. Senators voted against a bill that would’ve increased legislative terms to four years. The measure would’ve limited the number of consecutive terms that a senator can run for office.
