Shell Customer Grabs Drunk Robbery Suspect, Assists in Arrest


Guam – A customer at the Shell Service Station on Route 8 in Barrigada grabbed a robbery suspect from behind and assisted Guam Police in making an arrest early this morning.

According to a release from Guam Police Spokesman Officer A.J. Balajada,  the suspect enter the Shell station armed with a knife and demanded money

Hagatna Police Officer responded to a call that a robbery is in progress, but before they got there a customer in the store grabbed the suspect from behind and him outside where he was arrested by the Police Officer who had just arrived on the scene.

20 year old Saingo Ignasio was booked and confined on charges of Robbery, Criminal Mischief, Public Drunkenness and Use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a Felony.
