TIYAN – Just two more weeks left in the Budweiser Football League’s regular season, the postseason is starting to take shape. Two time defending champion, The Silver Raiders, were undefeated at 6-0 going into week 8 and looking for lucky number 7. In their way, the Island Chiefs. Chiefs looking to run their winning streak to, 2. The Champs waste no time getting their high octane offense going. Silver Raiders march down the field in the early goings, making moving the ball look all too easy. Silver Raiders cap off a long drive with a 10 yard give to the half back who scampers to the outside for the touchdown. Raiders bringing the defense as well. Chiefs Quarterback Jade Shimizu, trying to make something happen on 2nd down, dropped backed to pass and threw it right into the hands of a Raider Linebacker. Ensuing possession for the Silver and Black results in another touchdown. Chiefs scored their only touchdown off a 94 yard Leeray Zapatos quarterback keeper, but by then the damage was done and the Silver Raiders stay undefeated by winning 28-6 over the Island Chiefs.
