NWS says shear line and trade wind disturbance are approaching.
Guam – The National Weather Service says the chance of rain this weekend has slightly increased.
In its area forecast discussion released this afternoon, NWS says,
“The weak trade disturbance may bring a slight uptick in showers Saturday night and Sunday. A new shear line may settle into the Marianas Monday or Monday night.”
However, NWS still predicts this coming weekend to be partly cloudy with isolated showers. The chance of rain remains 20 percent. NWS reports this is due to weather forecast model ECMWF’s disagreement.
NWS concludes, “Except for a slight increase in winds the next few days, not much change is seen in the weather through the coming weekend.”
