This advisory will expire on Friday.
Guam – “The National Weather Service on Guam has issued a Small Craft Advisory, which is in effect from 6 P this evening to 11 AM CHST Friday,” NWS writes in its Urgent Marine Weather Message released this afternoon.
NWS adds, “Fresh to occasionally strong trade winds up to 25 knots and combined seas building to 8 to 10 feet will produce hazardous conditions for operators of small craft through Friday morning. Highest seas are expected east of the islands.”
Residents are advised to avoid boating and take precautionary actions when traveling by boat is necessary.
