Guam – A mild 5.0 magnitude earthquake shook some buildings and rattled some windows on Guam at 7:16 am Wednesday morning.
The quake struck about 22 miles north north-east of Hagatna. It occurred at a depth of 77.6 miles.
Unlike a series of recent more powerful quakes occurring more than 200 miles south south-east of the island, this one occurred in a different region and was much closer to the island.
Despite being widely felt, there were no reports of damage or injury, and no tsunami warning was issued.
