Glenn Lujan, SMG VP of Sales, said: "It really is for these kids. So come out. Join us. It's a Star Wars-themed run."

Tomorrow, the Sorensen Media Group will be holding THE FORCE Galaxy Run 2K/5K, an event for Star Wars fans and race enthusiasts alike.

Starting tomorrow, Dec. 14, members of the Force Federation of Guam will be in Jedi and Sith costumes in support of the runners who will participate in the event.

The race showtime is 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. go time at the Chamorro Village Festival Huts. Prizes will be raffled out and the top winners for each division will receive two admission tickets to SMG’s Star Wars premiere set for Dec. 19 at the Regal Cinema.

In addition, a portion of the proceeds from the run will benefit the Mane’lu Foundation, a local nonprofit organization that provides mentoring and support to the island’s children.
