Smith Pleads Not Guilty to Cruz Murder


Guam – Roland SN Smith entered a plea of not guilty to the Sunday October 10th murder of his common law wife Amanda Marie Tedtaotao Cruz.

Cruz entered his plea on Wednesday of this week before Judge Anita Sukola and he also waived his right to a speedy trial.

Smith is alleged to have used a metal pipe to beat Cruz to death during a domestic argument at his father’s Agat home.

Smith is being held on a half-million dollar bail and has been under a suicide watch at the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse [DMHSA].

Status update on Roland SN Smith:


Arraignment was heard yesterday, November 3, 2010. He pled not guilty and waived right to speedy trial. Criminal Trial Setting is scheduled for December 10 at 10 a.m. before Judge Sukola.
