So how do the island’s 105 new positives break down in terms of age?

With a whopping 105 new cases recorded on Guam Thursday, the Governor wasted no time putting the island into stricter PCOR 1 measures.

A record-breaker, the 105 cases came as a shock to many in the Guam community.

Of that number, 71 were reported from the Naval Hospital consisting of aggregate data from multiple days of testing (August 17-19).

In terms of the age breakdown for the new COVID cases, the largest surge is in the 20-39 age group, which accounts for 65 of the cases.

People from 40-59 were another 28 cases. One more child was added in the 0-9 category and 7 more positives were recorded for the 10-19 age group.
