Song Remains Confined After Re-Arrest, This Time on Manslaughter Charge Following Ku’s Death

Guam – Jimmy Chin Song remains confined after he was re-arrested last Friday evening after being indicted on a charge of Manslaughter by a Superior Court Grand Jury in connection with the death of Yunmo Ku.

27 year old Ku was disconnected from life support machines Friday June 24th following a fight with Song the previous Saturday at the Sing-a-Song Cafe in Harmon.

The 40 year old Song was initially arraigned on a charge of Aggravated Assault only. He was freed after posting the $50-thousand dollar bail imposed for that charge.

But after Ku died, prosecutors last week sought the additional Manslaughter charge and bail has now been raised to $250-thousand dollars. Song has not been able to post that amount so he remains confined.

Song is scheduled to be Magistrated on the additional Manslaughter charge this Wednesday.
