Guam – Southern High School’s GCC CTE Marketing team edged out competitors from the four other public high schools today to win the annual Guam DECA Quiz Bowl.

Because of their superior knowledge of marketing terms and scenarios, Juniors Nick Aquiningoc, Trebor Aguerro, Michael Santos, and sophomores Brittany Muna and Mykel Lizama are now one step closer to attending the national DECA conference in Salt Lake City, Utah, on April 28th. They’ll compete again locally in the DECA State Event in March, where marketing students have to perform in role-play events judged by local marketing professionals and take a comprehensive exam that tests their marketing knowledge and skills.
