Speaker calls emergency session in legislature to deal with Governor’s budget VETO

The 35th Guam Legislature goes into special session to discuss the governor's alternative budget bill.

Speaker Tina Muna Barnes has called an Emergency Session for today, Tuesday September 15 at 2pm.

After Senators voted down the Governor’s proposed budget bill on Monday in a special session, Sen. Joe S. San Agustin, chairman of the committee on appropriations, wrote Speaker Tina Muna-Barnes, requesting for her to call an emergency session on Sept. 15, at 2 pm, to vote on overriding the governor’s veto of Bill 282-35.
