Guam – Speaker Judi Won Pat has called a legislative session tomorrow morning [Wednesday] at 9am to consider a revised bill from Senator Dennis Rodriguez to keep F.Q. Sanchez open.
Won Pat made that announcement to a group of Umatac residents who gathered at the Legislature early this morning to urge action on the bill. She spoke to the residents after a closed door meeting with other lawmakers to discuss tomorrow’s session..
The Speaker revealed that the plan under consideration is a proposal to give DOE a lump sum budget that will include the cost to run F.Q. Sanchez and let DOE then decide how to spend the rest of the money.
