St. John’s Praises Model Students as Part of Its “CHARACTER COUNTS” Program

(Upper Tumon) St. John’s School praised lower school students for their exemplary behavior throughout the month of November by awarding “CHARACTER COUNTS” certificates and acknowledging them in front of their peers, teachers, and parents.

CHARACTER COUNTS is a character education program at St. John’s School that teaches students trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.  Each month, teachers identify students who were exemplary in modeling good behavior, observing and enforcing classroom and school rules, and encouraging fellow students to behave properly.

The following students were awarded as Peacemakers: Megan Becker (Pre-K3), Ocean Campus (Pre-K4), Kailee Wong (Pre-K4), Aiden Kang (K), Xander Castro (K), Rehana Sachdev (1st), David Del Carmen (1st), Riley Hartup (1st), Jun Lee (2nd), Jacob Jackson (2nd), Kian Khorram (3rd), Camila Ortega (3rd), Honoka Choo (4th), Yuuto Marchal (4th), Chelsea Luo (5th) and Juliana Khorram (5th).

One of the ways in which St. John’s School supplements its core curriculum and school-wide learning outcomes is with character education programs.
