The rumble began outside the Hanna Mart in Harmon Saturday evening about 7 pm and ended early Sunday morning on a coral road next to the Dededo Sports Complex.

It was a gang fight.

Guam Police Officer A.J. Balajadia says the gang that started it, is involved in what he called “underground fighting.”  Saturday night they spotted a group of rivals in a pick-up truck parked outside the Hanna Mart in Harmon. The gang confronted the rival group.

Osupwang Jery Muritok was identified as the leader of the gang “who started the disturbance,” according to the magistrates complaint.

But it was another member of the gang,  Vimpson Jay Menisio , who was seen with a knife circling behind Vicpo Mius in the parking lot of the Hanna Mart.

Rex Nanato “pushed defendant Menisio away from Mius.” Meniso then charged Nanoto. The 2 struggled. Nanato was stabbed and collapsed at the door to the Hanna Mart. He died at GMH about 8:30 Saturday evening. Menisio “admitted to police detectives that he had stabbed” Nanoto.

The gang then bought beer and vodka, according to the magistrate’s complaint. They went up to Dededo and were partying at an abandoned building beside the Dededo flea market.  Steven Muritok (comatose) and Osupwang Muritok “began to brag that they had jumped Vicpo Mius earlier at Hanna Market.”

[Officer Balajadia states 4 victims suffering knife wounds found along coral road on far side of this abandoned warehouse]

Michael Pucholong (deceased), a cousin of Mius, heard them bragging and “became upset.”  Then, the magistrate reports says, “Pucholong thereafter stabbed Steven Muritok [now comatose at GMH] in the head and fled towards the Ukudo pipeline road.”

Menisio, Osupwang Muristok , Benny Robert and 2 minors chased after Pucholong and, the complaint says, it was Robert who stabbed Pucholong. Pucholong died at GMH just before 3 am Sunday morning. One of the minor’s also told police that Menisio had told him that he “had ‘shanked’ Michael”
Pucholong.

On Saturday September 10, 2011, a local gang involved in Underground Fighting spotted a group of guys in a truck at the Hana Mart, Harmon.  The gang confronted the occupants and a riot between the groups began, during which the victim was allegedly stabbed and killed in the parking lot.

Later that evening (Around 2:00am September 11, 2011), the gang that attacked the group at Hanna Mart were drinking alcohol and celebrating their fight at an abandoned warehouse by the Dededo Flea Market.  Another fight broke out with two individuals who lived near by.

Detectives of the Criminal Investigation and Juvenile Investigation Sections conducted an extensive investigation which resulted in the confinement of two male minors and four adults.
