Stabbing in Tamuning, 1 in custody

Guam police spokesman Sgt. Paul Tapao reports that one person has been taken into custody following a stabbing in Tamuning Thursday.

No further details are available at this time.

Guam fire spokesman Kevin Reilly reports that Medic 1, Engine 1, and ALS 1 responded to the reported stabbing at 12:30 p.m. Thursday.

It occurred on Sgt. David Camacho Street in Tamuning.

According to GFD, emergency units transported one male, age/ethnicity unknown, with a puncture wound to his lower extremities to GMH.

GFD said the patient was conscious and responsive at the scene and enroute to the hospital.
