Star Marianas Air has announced that they suspended flights to Guam today because of uncertainty over a CNMI Executive Order implementing certain quarantine protocols.
“Because of this uncertainty” states a news release the company, “we will not be operating fights to Guam” on March 17 “and possibly through the period that the Executive Order remains in effect.
CNMI Executive Order 2020-04 requires non-residents and returning residents arriving from outside the CNMI including from Guam to undergo voluntary quarantine. Guam Governor Lou Leon Guerrero issued a similar order Monday as well.
