Statue is at Angel Santos Latte Stone Park
Guam – A statue of the late senator and Chamoru rights activist Angel Santos is in the works.
In fact although it’s still covered it can be seen at the Angel Santos latte stone park in Hagatna. Department of Parks and Recreation director Ray Blas tells PNC that the unveiling of the statue is currently scheduled for this Thursday at 2:30p.m. However, he notes that this could change depending on the weather Guam receives from tropical storm Dolphin. Blas says the statue was paid for by funds from the Hotel Occupancy Tax bond or HOT bond.
