Another delay has arisen in the case involving the stabbing death of Randy Tomei as the accused, Brandy Stephanus, only received the formal plea deal Thursday morning despite being on schedule for a change of plea.

Stephanus’ attorney told the court that the government just received the finalized plea agreement for his client and because of this, he will need time to review it with Stephanus.

He told the court that he would be reviewing the deal with his client and a translator on Tuesday.

In response, Superior Court Judge Michael Bordallo has continued the change of plea hearing to Dec. 12.
