Still No Arrest in Bell Auto-Ped Accident After Nearly A Month

The driver of the car that hit Bell has been identified as 23 year old Eddie John Camacho but he has not yet been arrested as the case is still under investigation.

Guam – It’s been 26 days since cyclist Eric Bell was hit by a vehicle resulting in his death a few days later and there is still no word yet on the investigation into the crash.

 

The driver of the car that hit Bell has been identified as 23 year old Eddie John Camacho but he has not yet been arrested as the case is still under investigation. Bell was 6’7″ inches tall. He was wearing bright clothing and using a crosswalk when he walked his bicycle across the street early in the morning of June the 2nd. Bell was crossing Rt.1 near the Micronesia Mall when he was struck by a 1995 Honda Accord that was traveling northbound. Bell was described as unconscious and unresponsive when medics arrived at the scene. He passed away at the Guam Regional Medical City on June 17. On June 21st GPD investigators shut down part of Rt.1 to further investigate Bell’s death.
