Guam – Ken Chargualaf has withdrawn his name from consideration as Superintendent for the Guam Department of Education.
A release from the Guam Education Board states that Chargualaf has informed GEB that he is withdrawing his application citing personal reasons.

Chargualaf’s withdrawal leaves 9 candidates under consideration for the jog.
They are:
* Vince Leon Guerrero
* Salvadore Avila
* Edwin Taitano
* Albert San Augustin
* Janet Yamashita
* William Castro
* Begona Flores
* Michelle Mendiola [off island candidate]
* Faye Untalan. [off island candidate]
The release states that the GEB Superintendent search committee will meet this Wednesday to review the application packets of the 9 remaining individuals seeking the position and determine whether they meet the minimum requirements.
