TakeCare has added a health fair, free and open to the public, on Saturday, September 18, 2021, from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm at the Micronesia Mall, at the former Dollar Discount store in corridor 4. The last health fair will be Saturday, September 25

Guam Cancer Care and St. Luke’s Medical Center in Manila, Philippines, will also participate and provide information about their organizations and services.

Participants can have their health vitals screened for body composition (including body weight, body fat percentage, and body mass index), blood pressure, random blood glucose, and screening for diabetes. FHP Vision Center will provide free vision screening.

“Our free health fairs continue for the public on Saturday, September 18 and again on Saturday, September 25,” said Ernest Aquino, TakeCare wellness and fitness program team lead. “Screenings and annual checkups are excellent ways to stay healthy and knowledgeable about your health.”

Regardless if the participant is a TakeCare member or not, the company encourages people to take their health information from the fair to their own doctor to help make decisions about a plan to achieve better health.

Participants will be given a “passport” to be stamped at various health stations that will provide information about living a healthy lifestyle. Once completely stamped, the passport can be turned in by the participant for a chance to win a round-trip airfare ticket on United Airlines.
