Talofofo Elementary Unveils Student Made Artwork And Mural

The students of Talofofo elementary unveiled a new mural and numerous pieces of artwork they did that reflects the village of Talofofo in the past, the Talofofo of the present and the Talofofo of the future. 

Guam – Talofofo elementary is celebrating it’s 50 year anniversary and yesterday(Weds) they held a special ceremony.

 

 The students of Talofofo elementary unveiled a new mural and numerous pieces of artwork they did that reflects the village of Talofofo in the past, the Talofofo of the present and the Talofofo of the future. Governor Eddie Calvo and GDOE Superintendent John Fernandez were both in attendance and both praised the artwork of the Talofofo students. “I was so fascinated to hear about this mural that would look not only fifty years in the past but now but fifty years in the future and the reason why is our administration is working on a plan a plan created by the people of Guam for how they want Guam to be in fifty years.”

 

 The mural featured flying buses, a water park and other futuristic as well as contemporary motifs.
