Dusit Thani Guam Resort, in collaboration with the Korean Food Promotion Institute and Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, welcomes the return of its award-winning “Taste of Korea” promotion.

Korean food lovers prepare to have your taste buds run wild. The Taste of Korea returns to the island at the Aqua restaurant in the Dusit Thani Resort.

Aqua is the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant with some of the island’s most spectacular views for a family-friendly dining experience.

Earl Thomas, assistant director of food and beverage, invites all Korean food lovers to get a taste of authentic Korean cuisine.

“Because we have many Koreans here on the island, we want to make sure we get that authentic flavor directly from Korea which Chef Bae will assist us with. And not only for our Korean guests, but we really want to focus on our local guests here as well. Here on Guam, local islanders enjoy Korean food and Korean cuisine,” Thomas said.

Chef Han Chul Bae is from South Korea and hopes to bring the traditional flavors of his home to Guam.

“We have very popular dishes like galbi dak galbi… is the same as last year. But the Korean food that must be tested is galbi … there are other new dishes … I add some vegetable dishes and some noodle dishes,” Chef Bae said.
