Guam – Could Guam be one step closer to achieving tuition-free college?  Lt. Governor Ray Tenorio and former Senator Tony Ada seem to think so.

In a press release from Adelup, the Republican duo met with Governor Eddie Calvo this morning to discuss the potentiality of providing Guamanian families with a tuition-free college education.

According to the Governor’s Special Assistant on Education Vince Leon Guerrero, approximately 2,000 students graduated from high school this year, and only about 18% will go to college.

Although no tuition-free plan has been unveiled, both the Lt. Governor and former Senator Tony Ada say they plan to meet with education officials next week.
