The Circus Comes To Guam !


Guam – The Great American Circus is on island.

As part of their Southeast Asia tour, the circus will be performing on Guam from This Saturday, November 20th to November 28th under the big top tent at Agana Shopping Center.

 Nicholas Harris Entertainment, a Hawaiian based company, has been entertaining people for over 60 year. Don’t expect to see elephants or lion trainers. The Circus’ producer and ringmaster Tuffy Nicholas says This is a modern day circus, which is all about people performing for people.

Nicholas says, “The modern circus is an ensemble of acts that includes the Wheel of Death, Classic Flying Trapeze, Olex the Clown, Crossbow Masters, Lyra in the Sky, Flying Silks, Wild West Gauchos, Balancing Rolla Bolla, Strong Man, Twirling Cube, Masterful Magic, Hand-to-Hand Balance Dance, Hundreds of Hoops, Pole Performance, and Towering Chair Balance. This show is for children of all ages.”

According to Nicholas, the performers at this circus are world class athletes, if they didn’t join the circus they could have easily been in the Olympics. Nicholas says, Families will find plenty of activities pre-show and during intermission including clown face painting, toy and souvenir stands, concessions, photos with circus artists and autographs with the artists.

The shows begin this Saturday until November 27th. Show times will be 1 PM, 4PM and 7PM on Saturday and Sunday and 6 PM during week days. Nicholas points out that the circus will be closed on Thanksgiving. Tickets will be available at all Mobil and I-connect locations and at the Circus box office.
