Guam – From the GPD blotter over the weekend:
Friday Agents with the Criminal Investigations Section following up on a complainant of Assault, arrested 45 year old Devorah Lynne Covington , of Tamuning for assaulting a person known to her “within the Tamuning area.” She was charged with Assault and Family Violence, booked and confined.
On Saturday CID Agents arrested 35 year old Glenn Pangelinan Aflague, of Yona for a rash of vehicles break-ins in Hagatna, Barrigada and Tumon. Aflague was charged with 15 counts of Burglary to a Vehicle, 15 counts of Theft of Property, 15 counts of Criminal Mischief, 3 counts of Fraudulent use of a Credit Card, and 3 counts of Identity Theft. He too has been booked and confined.
On Sunday, while passing by the J.B. Ukulele Hut in Ada’s Commercial Plaza, an employee of the store reported noticing a light on inside of the store and then discovered the store had been broken into. An undetermined amount of cash was stolen from the store. Police are asking anyone with information regarding the burglary to call the Guam Police Department or Guam Crime Stoppers at 477-HELP.
Also on Sunday officers were called to Cloud 9 Karaoke Lounge in Tamuning, because of a reported disturbance. 33 year old Dean Santos Adkins was arrested and a weapon was confiscated from him. The type of weapon is not named. Adkins was also charged with Disorderly Conduct, Public Drunkenness, Resisting Arrest, Use of a Deadly Weapon in the Commission of a Felony, and Eluding a Police Officer. Booked and confined.
And a third arrest also reported on Sunday. An officer pulled over a vehicle in Toto for disobeying a traffic sign. The officer was given consent to search the vehicle and found drugs. The driver, 40 year old Michael Anthony Cepeda Hernandez, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled substance Schedule II, and a Bench Warrant. The tyupe of drug confiscated is not mentioned. Hernandez was booked and confined.
