Thieves Steal Elementary School Childrens Thanksgiving Meal


Guam – The Guam Police Department reports that over the weekend thieves stole Thanksgiving turkeys & hams from J.Q. San Miguel Elementary School.

GPD Public Information Officer A.J. Balajadia reports that 2 other schools were also broken into but the accounting of what was stolen is still on going. Those 2 other schools are George Washington High School and St. Francis.

Officer Balajadia reports that the individual or individuals who broke into J.Q. San Miguel, stole the Thanksgiving Lunch met for the children at the school.

In all he reports that 3 turkeys, an un-named number of hams and other items were taken from the schools freezers.  Classrooms were also broken into but the details on what damage was done and/or what was stolen from those classrooms is pending.
