Third arrest for Hocog; Two inmates also arrested

Guam – Arrested for a third time, Roxanne Hocog has found herself back in prison on more prison contraband charges.

She has already been arrested once since her initial bust in an alleged conspiracy to bring in drugs to the Department of Corrections, but this time it is alleged that she conspired to smuggle contraband into the Hagatna Detention Facility.

According to GPD Spokesperson Officer AJ Balajadia, on December 26 crystal methamphetamine was discovered in the recreational yard at the Hagatna lock up. The investigation led officers back to the home of Hocog.  She has been on pre-trial release for the case against her and 12 other defendants named in an indictment related to a supposed DOC Contraband conspiracy. Despite being discovered with drugs and paraphernalia, she was placed on house arrest.  She was arrested and released a second time and placed back on house arrest.

This is now the third time she is being accused of promoting major prison contraband and the second time her home was raided. Police say they discovered and seized drug paraphernalia at Hocog’s residence.

She was not the only arrest made in this latest case, also arrested were inmates Bruno Simmons and Ray Anthony Hocog. Simmons was also named in the same initial indictment as Roxanne.

All three were arrested on charges of conspiring to promote major prison contraband.

Roxanne was additionally arrested for promoting major prison contraband, illegal possession of a scheduled two controlled substance and possession with the intent to distribute.

They were booked and confined.
