The Department of Labor today sent out the second batch of Pandemic Unemployment Assistance payments.
In a video message posted on her Facebook page, Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero said the second batch amounts to $36.4 million in payments to unemployed island residents.
And that amount will generate $6.3 million in tax revenues for GovGuam.
The third batch of federal unemployment benefits will go out next Monday. It will cover clean PUA claims through June 12.
And it will amount to $41 million in assistance, including taxes.
