On top of signing the Executive Order, the Governor also signed three bills into law.
The first bill the Governor signed will allocate 3.5 million dollars from the 2021 earned income tax credit reimbursement and/or the 2021 general fund unappropriated revenues to the Guam Historic Preservation Trust.
The funds will be used for the revitalization and renovation of the historic Francisco Q. Sanchez Elementary School under the jurisdiction of the Humåtak Mayor’s Office.
Second, the Governor has signed into law the SERVE Act, which establishes a Veterans Bill of Rights to help veterans access housing, employment, higher education, and healthcare. The program is to receive $500,000, funded entirely by the 2021 EITC.
And finally, the Governor signed into law that officially renames Route 3 as Ben Blaz Boulevard.
