Three men are behind bars after they allegedly stole from the same gas station on two separate occasions.
Guam – According to court documents police met with a witness who explained that on December 31st, he was following a male individual who was leaving the shell gas station in East Agana with a case of beer that was not paid for. The witness shared that another male individual approached him from behind with what appeared to be a knife. Not wanting to contend with an armed individual the witness stopped his pursuit but was able to identify the vehicle the two men fled in as a 2008 Chevy Aveo.
Then on January 2nd the suspects returned to the same gas station and proceeded to steal another 12-pack of beer. Police were able to identify the two male individuals and the driver of the Aveo as TM Erwin, Jeff Daniel and MJ Sowas.
According to court documents Daniel told police that he was holding a stick during the December 21st incident, not a knife. He further stated that Sowas was the get-away driver.
The three men were charged with third degree robbery as a third degree felony, criminal facilitation to commit robbery as a misdemeanor and retail theft.
They were booked and confined.
