Three Remain Hospitalized After Sunday Crash


Guam – Three people remain hospitalized in stable condition after an early morning accident near Talofofo on Sunday.

The accident occurred at about 3:16am near the Our Lady of Peace Cemetery when a 2006 Nissan Sentra collided with a Guam Police Department Patrol Vehicle.

Two female passengers in the Sentra were taken to Naval Hospital where they were both reported to be in stable condition this morning.  One of the women was in critical condition on Sunday.

The driver of the Sentra was taken to Guam Memorial Hospital where he was in stable condition in the surgical ward Monday afternoon.

Two police officers were also taken to GMH following the accident.  Both officers complained they had neck and back pain.  They were released on Sunday.

Guam Highway Patrol is investigating the accident and no details on the cause of the crash have been released but officers did say the roads were wet at the time of the collision.
