3 theft suspects surrender to police

Guam – All three individuals wanted for questioning in a string of robbery and theft-related cases have self-surrendered to authorities.

Guam Police Department spokesman Sgt. Paul Tapao said Johanna Babauta and Xavier Anderson Tedtaotao both walked into the Agat Precinct on April 25 the day police announced they were wanted for questioning.

Tapao said the two were taken to GPD’s Tiyan headquarters to be interviewed. They were subsequently arrested for their involvement in a robbery which occurred on April 18 at a pavilion in East Hagåtña.

Babauta was arrested for theft by receiving, conspiracy, and violation of court order, while Tedtaotao was arrested for guilt established by complicity, conspiracy, and robbery.

Four days after the two surrendered, William Yamnang also surrendered to the police. He was questioned by police and arrested in connection to a robbery which occurred on April 14 at Baltej Pavilion in Tamuning as well as the East Hagåtña pavilion robbery. His list offenses include, second-degree robbery, theft of property, criminal facilitation, terrorizing, and theft of a motor vehicle among other charges.
