Trench Challenge donates material to PPE for Guam

Trench Challenge donates needed materials to PPE for Guam volunteers who are manufacturing face masks for front liners.

Recognizing the shortage of essential PPE’s on Island, Trench Challenge said it reached out to the newly organized group of volunteers, PPE for Guam, who are making Personal Protective Equipment for Guam’s Healthcare workers, first responders, and others exposed to COVID-19.

PPE for Guam has designed, and is manufacturing, disposable face shield frames using an assembly line of 3D printers (producing as many as 100 pieces per day. The volunteer group is also setting up a laser CNC to cut out masks from fabrics.

On Friday, April 10, Trench Challenge donated approximately 300 new individually packaged 100% polyester shirts to the organization to be used for manufacturing masks.
