Jaycee White and Alberto Castro are back in court, where they are now preparing to head to trial for the death of body-boarder Brian Cruz.

Jaycee White and Alberto Castro will return to court on august 31st, for a pre-trial conference. The two men pleaded not guilty in the death of Brian Cruz. It was in October that surveillance footage captured what appeared to be white punching Cruz, causing him to fall to the ground before White, Castro and Richard Ragadio the third defendant, according to Police, carried Cruz out of view of the camera. Ragadio will not be tried because unlike White and Castro, he took a plea deal. Meanwhile, Castro and White face charges of aggravated assault, kidnapping, and hindering apprehension. The trial is set to begin in September.
