Triple J Blue Jays Win 2013 GMBL Pennant Defeating 76 Braves 12-8


Guam – In a game postponed due to rain, the Triple J Blue Jays and 76 Braves finally met again Monday at the Paseo Stadium to conclude the season as the Blue Jays held off the Braves 12-8.

The Blue Jays are now the 2013 Season Pennant Champions finishing at 12-3. For Triple J, Keith Hattig was 3-for-4, a double, four RBIs, and three runs scored. 

Paul Untalan was 3-for-4, a double, three RBI, and a run scored. For the Braves, Rick Tedtaotao was 2-for-4, a double, and two runs scored.

In the first game, the Maimai Marlins crushed the Yona RedHawks 14-1. 

For the Marlins, Tommy Santos went 3-for-3, two RBI, and three runs scored while Isaac Cruz was also 3-for-3, two RBI, and three runs scored. Willie Brennan was 2-for-2, a double, two RBI, and a run scored.

Jess Tanega was 1-for-2, knocking the lone run in, for in the Red Hawks.

The GMBL continues on Saturday, June 30, 2013 with the playoffs. The top four teams competing in a double elimination format at Paseo Stadium with Game 1 starting at 5:00 p.m.
