The GNYFF is set for a Gridiron filled weekend.  As it dives into its Playoff 2nd rd. Semifinals in all divisions.

On Saturday, the action will be at Hal’s Angels Football Field in Wettengel Dededo, where the Angels Manha(seed 2), Metgot(seed 1) & Matua(seed 1) Divisions will be eager to get back on the playing field, as the top two Seeds in each bracket got a bye in the Playoff Qtr. finals this past weekend.

Angels in the Manha and Metgot Semi-Finals will play the Outlaws.  Last weekend the Outlaws Manha won a close contest against the Raiders by a score of 13-12.  While the Outlaw Metgot beat the Eagles 20-8 to advance.  Meanwhile, the Matua Broncos, led by running back Francisco Mantanona’s 2 touchdowns, beat the Outlaws 14-8. And will now face the unbeaten Matua Angels in a Semifinals showdown.

On Sunday the action switches over to Eagles Field in Mangilao.  In the Manha, the number one seed Cowboys will face the Eagles.  The Eagles got by the Packers on Sunday, led by Dreyvin Quitugua and Mackenzy Sablan, each with TD’s in the game.  And then in both the Metgot and Matua Semi’s, it’ll be a showdown between the Raiders and the Steelers.  This past Saturday the Metgot Raiders blanked the Packers 22-0.  While the Matua Steelers, led by Adin Lumba’s 3 rushing TD’s, got by the Cowboys 26-6.
