The Triple J Auto Group has an event planned for those looking for some wholesome fun and a unique movie drive-in experience this Saturday.
The Drive-Up Movie Reels & Wheels event — hosted by SMG’s very own, Kyle Mandapat — will be showcasing the Disney Pixar film, Onward.
Triple J’s VP of Marketing, Kristine Lujan, went on air with K57’s Patti Arroyo to promote the event and to remind interested moviegoers that they will reinforce the restrictions of the Safer-at-Home order because the island is still under PCOR1 status.
“We’re going to practice all social distancing guidelines on site. So that means 6 ft. social distance, wear your masks, wash your hands. We’re going to have clean bathroom facilities there, provided by GFA where you can also use the restroom. But we just want to try and keep everyone in their cars and make it a fun, efficient experience, right? So they can feel safe … so that’s how we’re going to do it,” Lujan said.
The drive-in movie event will take place this Saturday, November 14, at the GFA Soccer field in Harmon. Gates open at 5:30 pm and the movie starts at 6:30 pm.
Tickets will be $20 per carload and sold at the Triple J Showroom, across Kmart and Triple J Honda in Tamuning next to McDonald’s.
Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Guam Memorial Hospital Volunteers Association.
