Tropical Storm Chan-Hom Remains at 50MPH Heading East-Northeast at 9MPH

Guam – Tropical Storm Chan-Hom Remains at 50MPH.

 

 

 According to the Fri. 11pm update tropical storm Chan-Hom’s maximum sustained winds remain at 50ph. It is now heading East-Northeast at 9MPH. The latest forecast track as of the posting of this article has it passing far North of Guam and just South of Tinian and Saipan.

 However a typhoon watch remains in effect for Guam Rota Tinian and Saipan. Guam is still in COR3. Chan-Hom is now expected to pass through the Marianas Sunday evening. The NWS warns that Chan-Hom could still become a Typhoon by Sunday when it Passes through the Marianas.
